Project Overview

This project focuses on upgrading the lighting of a retail optical center to support accurate color rendering and precise visual evaluation of eyewear. The lighting strategy is designed to enhance product clarity while minimizing glare, ensuring comfortable viewing conditions for customers during selection and fitting.
Equal emphasis was placed on supporting the technical requirements of optometry staff. Lighting levels and distribution were carefully calibrated to facilitate examinations, adjustments, and detailed visual tasks, creating a balanced environment that supports both retail presentation and clinical accuracy.

Lighting Scope and Applications

The lighting scope covers selected architectural elements, storefront interfaces, and interior circulation zones throughout the optical center. The approach addresses exterior visibility, entrance transitions, customer movement paths, and support corridors, ensuring consistent visual comfort, clear orientation, and controlled lighting conditions aligned with the functional and retail requirements of the space.
  • Facade and Perimeter: Enhances visibility of the retail frontage.
  • Interior Circulation: Ensures comfortable navigation.
  • Support Corridor Lighting: Functional illumination for back-of-house operations.
